Each Shutter Catch comes with one pan head screw to attach Catch to window sill or shutter frame and one Button which is attached to shutter. When Button is pushed into the catch, the Button expands, then grasps onto it. This mechanical fastening results in a very secure hold. Great for shutters that are mounted on French Doors or very heavy panels.

Just what was needed

I had originally purchased stronger magnets to hold a door-mounted plantation shutter closed which kept popping open when the door was closed. The stronger magnets did not do the job. When I expressed that to Patrick at Shutter Medic, he suggested these instead. They worked perfectly and now the shutter stays shut like it should. Exactly what was needed!

Just What I Needed

Original catch was damaged during floor replacement. Home Depot associate directed me to your site and I found identical replacement. Fits more snugly than necessary, but figure that it will loosen in time. Now my patio shutter door can shut again. Very easy to install.
