Louver Kits are for use on WOOD Plantation shutters only. They are not for use on plastic or vinyl shutters.
No special tools or skill are needed
.
Instructions are written with the average homeowner in mind. They describe how to easily remove your old damaged louver and how to install your new replacement louver.
Each kit includes:
One custom made solid wood replacement louver ready to install.
One nylon louver pin and one louver repair pin.
One louver staple to connect louver to tilt rod.
Shutter Staple Glue.
Easy to follow instructions containing photos.

Arrived well packaged in 4 days after placing online order which for a custom made product is great. Took me about 5 minutes to install two louvers. I got their basic white color and it is about a 95% match with my existing white shutters such that I’m not having to paint it. To the casual observer they look exactly identical to the rest of the shutter. I never knew this existed I almost replaced my entire shutter for $300.

Just what I needed!
This worked perfectly for what I needed. It was a bit more than I expected when I purchased it, but it installed quickly and easily and looks just exactly like the originals. I couldn't be happier. So glad to not have the eyesore of a broken shutter anymore. :)

We have beautiful plantation shutters in our home, and were upset when two of them broke. I had no idea how to begin the repair until I saw Shutter Medic’s “how to” video. I ordered and received my replacement louvers in about a week, and they were perfect. Everything I needed to install them was included in the package. Less then an hour later, louvers were in. They are very high quality and look identical to the originals! I will definitely order again from Shutter Medic.

There was one broken louvre in our new house. After receiving several very expensive repair or even replacement quotes I found Shutter Medic online. Finest Quality and Excellent Customer Service!
The quality of the louvres was superb and the instructions were VERY easy to follow. The order even included a "scrap" piece of wood to use for matching the stain to the original wood. My daughter inadvertently threw away the pins and staples that were necessary to install the new louvres. Patrick was SO accommodating about sending me the replacement parts in a speedy fashion. I would highly recommend Shutter Medic to anyone that needs shutter parts for their DIY projects!!!

Custom Size
Excellent customer service! – Shutter Medic made some non-standard dimension slats for me that after a test slat were exactly what I required. The follow-up Patrick did to make sure everything was correct was FANTASTIC. When my dog decides to chew on more slats you can be assured that I will call Shutter Medic again.

Louvers and pinss
