Louver Kits are for use with WOOD Plantation Shutters. They are not for use with vinyl or plastic shutters.
No special tools or skill are needed. Instructions are written with the average homeowner in mind and explain how to easily remove your old damaged louver and how to install your new replacement louver.
One custom made solid wood replacement louver ready to install.
One nylon louver pin and one louver repair pin.

Excellent replacements
I have.used Shutter Medic in the past on previous jobs as a General Contractor and they have always been fantastic! So, after retirement, why not use them at my residence? These are the perfect solution for shutter repairs! Excellent workmanship.

Absolutely Perfect!!!
My almost one year old puppy decided to make 3 of my shutters his crew toy. I ordered 5 replacement shutters just in case. I received them and within 20 minutes my shutters were good as new again. They were incredibly easy to install with the help of the "How-to" video. Unfortunately my puppy decided to try out the shutters, but at least I know Shutter Medic will be able to help me make my door look good as new once again

Very Satifisfied Customer
Ordering replacement louvers was very simple. Found the matching design with the correct measurements, placed my order and they arrived in less than a week. My contractor painted them to match my existing ones and installed them the same day. You could probably do it yourself, but he was already working on other projects around our house so this was an easy add on. It's challenging to find replacement shutter parts, so Shutter Medic is a name I keep in my contact list for the future.

I purchased 2 replacement louvers (3 1/2 x 3/8 x 20) for our living room shutter door which has a "hidden tilt rod" in the back. The size I ordered was identical and fit perfectly. The only adaptation I had to do was drill a small hole for the hidden tilt rod nail and put a miniscule amount of wood putty where the staple holes were pre-drilled for a center tilt rod. Very happy with the replacement kit!

Great product & clear, easy-to-follow instructions. Works perfectly. Will buy over & over again, as my yellow Lab continues to try to go thru the plantation shutters to get to the critters outside. Grrrr!

Easy installation
Louver kit was easy to install, the instructions were very simple to follow. The hardest part was getting the new nylon louver pin into the old hole - took a bit of work to push in completely. So happy we were to DIY and avoid the cost of a repair company.
