Hidden Shutter Magnets (20 lb pull)

Needed to secure two bi-fold Chinese screen panels as a closet door. Application was difficult as the screens do not meet flat-on, but at an angle . Standard installation that counter-sank the magnets into the edge of the screen did not provide enough "pull" to keep somewhat warped panels closed. After surface mounting the three magnets on the panel edge, and using a somewhat larger rectangular "catch plate" instead of the three washers on the opposite panel edge, was able to achieve sufficient pulling power. Not the most "hidden" or elegant appearance, but all-in-all showed the versatility of these powerful magnets.

Great product. Neat in appearance and works very well. Solved perfectly the problems we were having with our shutters.

I replaced some windows that were covered by shutters, and did so without removing the shutters. But the new window trim would not accommodate the usual shutter magnets that sell in the hardware store, so the search for a new solution began. These shutter magnets were perfect because they're small and can be "adjusted" to varying depths of moulding by using simple plastic or metal spacers when installing them. Highly rated. Do a great job.

Our plantation shutters had the old style cabinet magnet that cracked, rusted and fell apart. These are "FANTASTIC" THEY HOLD EXTREMELY WELL ARE RECESSED SO YOU DON'T SEE THEM AND SEEM TO BE PRETTY MUCH BULLET PROOF. I would highly recommend them.
