Louver Kits are for use on WOOD Plantation shutters only. They are not for use on plastic or vinyl shutters.
No special tools or skill are needed
.
Instructions are written with the average homeowner in mind. They describe how to easily remove your old damaged louver and how to install your new replacement louver.
Each kit includes:
One custom made solid wood replacement louver ready to install.
One nylon louver pin and one louver repair pin.
One louver staple to connect louver to tilt rod.
Shutter Staple Glue.
Easy to follow instructions containing photos.

Great product that was simple to install, replacement shutters were going to cost over 15,000.00, due to extensive damage , replacement lovers were around 1400.00 for over 50 lovers. Great customer service and quick delivery!

Fantastic product , fast delivery , expert craftsmanship , high quality materials , can't say enough. Arrived in the mail perfectly wrapped for shipping. Fifteen minutes later had them installed. Can't even tell they had been replaced. If you have to replace any slats in your shutters look no further than this company. You won't be disappointed .

My dog destroyed the lower louvers on my back door and I couldn’t get anyone to even come out and look at it much less repair it. I needed 12 louvers but was afraid to buy that many not knowing for sure if they would work so I ordered one and it was perfect so I immediately ordered the rest and now my door is beautiful once again. I’m very thankful for this product and the instructional videos were extremely helpful.

Just what I needed!
My entire house has plantation shutters that are about 6 years old now. I accidentally broke one of the louvers in my bedroom. I tried calling many places for repair but no one wanted to be bothered. I found this website. I was a little weary on trying to replace it myself but I had little choice. I measured, I ordered and the new piece came about a week later. However, I have a hidden tilt rod so I had to indicate that in the order. When the piece came I had to make a small cut in the wood where my hidden tilt rod connects but other than that, everything else was great. Hopefully I never have to use this service again but if a louver breaks this is where I will go.

We ordered a replacement slat for our 30 year old wooden shutters and had no problem in removing the broken slat and inserting the purchased replacement. My husband and I are not a DIY couple so this was a big accomplishment for us! The video and instructions were perfect and we did not have a problem. The purchased slat was the exact size of our broken one and you cannot tell which one now is the replacement! We will definitely use shutter medic again if we have any more issues with our wooden shutters.

My dog broke a louver in my bedroom shutter. Not knowing who could fix my shutter, I searched the internet. The problem was finding someone who could replace one louver . Then I found shutter medic. This was the answer I needed. I made a couple of measurements, placed my order and my problem was solved at minimum cost. The package arrived and contained everything I needed to make the repair. Quick trip to Home Depot to buy a small jar of paint and in no time my shutter was as good as new. I am thrilled I found Shutter Medic.
