This hinge has a decorative 1/2" Fennel added to each end of the barrel.
 
Because these are non-mortise hinges, there is no cutting or special skills required to install them.  Simply screw them to your shutter panel and frame using the screw provided.
All 3 leaves are swaged on the center of the barrel.
