This paintable plastic hidden tilt rod is sold in 7ft lengths.

Louvers are attached to Hidden Tilt Rod 3 inches on center.

When using a hidden tilt rod system, you will need to fabricate your shutter using hidden tilt rod louver pins on the side that you will be installing your hidden tilt rod. These louver pins provide a wider gap between the end of the louver, and the inside of the stile required by the hidden tilt bar. Standard nylon louver pins can be utilized on the opposite side of louver that does not have the hidden tilt bar attached to it. See Installation Diagram

	Hidden Tilt Rod
	This worked very well with 3.5 inch louvers. Each shutter frame has 13 louvers which move in unison with consumate ease. Great solution when you don't want to use wooden tilt rods (which reduce light) and deal with all those staples! Attach your louver to the hidden tilt rod with #2 wood screws, half inch and place a nylon washer between the rod and louver for smooth operation.
